Reunited ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT To Record New Studio Album

March 3, 2010

Drummer Chris Kontos (MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT) of the reunited San Francisco Bay Area hardcore/crossover/thrash metal band ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT has issued the following update:

"Back in 2007 ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT started doing gigs again.

"After I left SPIRALARMS for spinning the wheels for four years with overthinking it to death, I really started to work the ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT thing again. Well, since then we have signed with TAANG! Records and they have released our first three LPs — 'American Paranoia' (1986),'No More Mr. Nice Guy' (1988),'Out Of Hand' (1991) — on CD for the first time on ONE disc. It been out on iTunes for months and doing REALLY well. It was released worldwide on January 19, 2010.

"We have been doing shows and writing music for the past three years now.

"The shows have been going really well, to say the least. On January 9, 2010, we played Slim's [in San Francisco] with D.R.I. and sold the place out (650 capacity). It was a killer show. [See video footage below.] Then we supported ANVIL at The Fillmore on February 6, 2010. Again, packed house! So now we are going to Europe in seven weeks to tour Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark...

"While in Denmark we are recording our new CD for TAANG! Records with super metal producer Tue Madsen (HALFORD, BEHEMOTH, KATAKLYSM, THE HAUNTED) along with KONKHRA's front man Anders Ludnmark at Starstruck Studios in Copenhagen from May 9 to May 16. Working title [for the album is] 'The Great Deceiver', with a hopeful release date of October 1, 2010. This will be the forth record for ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

"We are so honored to work with Tue and Anders on this CD. We have to bring our 'A' game, to say the least.

The lineup OG members are myself on drums, Kevin Reed on vocals, and Eric Mcintire on guitar. New guys are Greg Orr on bass and Yapple Ruelas on guitar.

"This is the most powerful stage of the game for us right now.

"We are ready to attack this tour as well as this recording in Denmark.
